Welcome to the Ocean County 2018 Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Project Website

The Ocean County Office of Emergency Management is updating its Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Approved Multi-Jurisdictional All Hazards Mitigation Plan (HMP). This HMP is required by state and federal agencies in order for communities in Ocean County to be eligible for certain types of state and federal disaster relief funds after a disaster occurs.

This website will be used throughout the planning process to post information, collect comments, announce meetings, and to post draft documents.

  • Kick-Off Meetings

    Please join us for one of two Kick-off Meetings scheduled to be convenient to attendees in the northern and southern portions of the County.  Both meetings will cover the same material; you need only attend one.  Meeting information is as follows:
